    The internet is abloom Gay life is the only life for me I was recently eyeing up the plant section in a store and reflecting on the relationship some gay men have with plants. From a young age I was drawn to keeping and caring for houseplants, and knew that this somehow set me apart from a lot of the other kids I knew. Sadly, a lot of gay men grew up not getting the level of nurturance and care that they needed to develop a solid sense of self-worth.

The Pansy Club was founded in by briar maverick to fulfill their dream of making horticulture a more queer and trans inclusive industry. He started in the field in working at a predominately queer and trans residential gardening company, and that experience inspired him to enroll in a horticulture certificate program and pursue public horticulture as a career.

    The Guide to Gay Gardening is my main and personal horticultural blog. Along with life at the allotment and in the hermitage garden I discuss planting schemes, garden events and tips and tricks for any green fingered foe.


    Simon, a shy artist, and Victor, a boisterous businessman, met in the photography studio, their eyes meeting over a shared love for the art, revealing a mutual spark that quickly developed into a gay romance, despite their different worlds. Soon, they were laughing over lattes, planning future dates, both of them feeling lucky to have found love and acceptance. With each passing moment, the LGBT community celebrated their new couple, understanding how beautiful it was to witness love blossom between two men from different backgrounds.
